Stop, Look, See

I noticed that we’re often consumed by work, or technology, or the daily tasks everyday life brings that we forget to stop, take a breath and take it all in. For example, I’ve been taking the same street route to Emmy’s school for the last year and have never noticed this beautifully monstrous tree until today.

Bare vs. Leafy

After Emmy got out of school, we decided to take a quick stroll and play, “Do you see, what I see?” game.  Emmy spotted something monstrous.

At home while washing the dishes, I noticed Lil’s leaf branch bouquet. Over the weekend, Lil and her bff, Isha collected random twigs, branches and leaves. They brought it home and called it their “nature bouquet”.  Its simplicity reminds me of a beautiful ikebana floral arrangement.  Its great to get out there and take a break and be part of the living! Life is beautiful!
