Aloha!

A week later, the family and I are still having Maui blues. We had a wonderful spring break at Kapalua Villas, northwest of Maui. The girls enjoyed waking each morning to the tropical birds’ songs, palm trees, the sound of the waves and taking morning strolls to the beach to take in each new day. We also had the opportunity to have my mom join us which gave my husband and I a chance to have a date night. (so long overdue 🙂 )

Here’s a look at where we stayed for a week and some of the sights and things we got to do.

We did our souvenir shopping at Lahaina. Lil and I went through several ABC stores (chain souvenir stores) and other shops looking for a unique Hawaiian doll. We finally found one. Unlike the usual stuffed toy looking type dolls, we thought this was the prettiest. A Precious Moments doll. 🙂
