Growing up, my sister and I didn’t have many things but we had our books. Reading became a favorite past time. Books became a place of solace, discovery, bonding and learning.

One of our dreams was to someday write books for children.  I am so happy and proud to announce that my sister has finally realized that dream in the form of a wonderful children’s book called, Goodnight World!   Her first book blog tour stop, begins right here and you get a sneak peek and I do a little Q&A with the author.

Q1: What’s the inspiration behind Sammy’s Books?
A1: My three-year-old daughter, Samantha, is the inspiration behind Sammy’s Books. She loves books and I love reading them to her. I wanted to create a collection that she and other young children can enjoy.

Q2: What can parents and young readers expect from your first Sammy’s Book, Goodnight World?
A2: Parents and young children can expect simple rhymes and illustrations that will make reading and learning easy and fun.

Q3: What makes Goodnight World unique from other goodnight books?
A3: Unlike the other Goodnight books, Goodnight World focuses on teaching and reminding young children their first words, at the same time help prepare them for bed. It’s a Goodnight book and a First Words book all in one.

Q4: Your website says that Sammy’s Books is a collection of beginner books for young readers. What are the upcoming titles?
A4: I am in the process of creating a series of First Words books, an ABC book, a Colors book, a Numbers book, an Opposites books, and more.

Q5: What was your favorite children’s book growing up?
A5: I loved, Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.
