Cioppino

I was ecstatic when my husband said that our friend Victor was coming over to cook us dinner. Not just any dish. It was both our favorite and brought back our dating memories. When my husband and I were dating we used to frequent this hole in the wall Italian restaurant called “Little Joe’s” at San Francisco’s North Beach area. Their specialty dish was Cioppino. It’s a fish stew that has a tomato wine sauce, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp and served with baguette on the side. (Little Joe’s restaurant moved out of North Beach, last time I heard they were in Van Ness area)

Lil loved the dish too and we were all merry. Good times with good friends! Thanks Victor!
