Chicken Khow Suey

Cooking this burmese dish called chicken khow suey takes a lot of work but it’s worth it. From soaking the chana dal overnight, to boiling, pureeing in blender, sauteing onions, garlic and chicken and endless stirring. Its bean gravy appearance may not be aesthetically appealing to the eye but it sure satisfies the belly. Like the Yo Gabba Gabba characters would say, “Yummy in my tummy!”

Some of the ingredients you’ll need below. This cooking business is beginning to feel less of a chore. Hope the feeling lasts! 🙂
